Established in 1911

TWENTYSEVEN is housed on a single, beautifully restored floor of a historic residential townhouse on Arany János utca 27, built in 1911 in Budapest’s prestigious 5th district. Behind the early 20th-century façade, we’ve created 14 design-led rooms with deep maroon interiors, fishbone parquet and carefully curated details – offering hotel-grade comfort discreetly embedded within local residential life, just minutes from the Parliament, Basilica and the Danube.

Each room features a generous bed with high-quality linens, blackout shades, a walk-in shower, smart TV and fast Wi-Fi, with select rooms enjoying classic city views or more spacious layouts for longer stays. Intimate in scale and discreet by design, TWENTYSEVEN is crafted for couples and business travellers seeking a quietly luxurious, design-forward base in the very heart of Budapest.

Our restoration of TWENTYSEVEN honours the quiet character of its residential townhouse while introducing a modern, design-led sensibility. Occupying a single, beautifully renovated floor rather than a full building, it offers a discreet, hotel-grade hideaway woven into everyday local life. Original proportions and architectural rhythms are preserved, then elevated with curated materials, warm maroon tones and refined details – inviting guests to experience Budapest not just as visitors, but as temporary residents within its living heritage.
